Secret Treehouse, a band from the beautiful city of Bergen in Norway known for their unique music scene, has set out on an everlasting quest to find the perfect melody. This search is set in a realm where guitar-driven pop/rock meets energetic electronic pop. It is all about cultivating the resistance and opposites in the soundscapes,painting audible pictures for the listener. Secret Treehouse is about a form of escapism. The place you retreat to when you need some distance and escape from reality. We like to describe ourselves in contrasts, the dark versus the light, the urban and dead versus the green nature. We like to think that there is a green creative hope in the midst of all the darkness. We find creativity in these dichotomies. Sveinung (guitar), Tormod (bass) and Anja (vocals) started making music together some years back and then we became Secret Treehouse with Marius (drums) and Trond Espen (keys) in 2015. Finally, it’s time for Secret Treehouse’s debut album « The Big Rewind ». The band from Bergen has had a hectic year with several single releases, concerts in Norway and England, radio listings with all their singles 5 singles as well as massive playlist support and now they’re ready to show us what they have been working on for the last two years. Like all bands and artists, Secret Treehouse has worked hard to find the right sound, mixing electronic pop and indie together to create beautiful and dreamy music that really draws you in and that makes you sit back with one warm feeling in the heart root.
